Fifty years ago mill workers in the town of Kannapolis hopped on the buses of Kannapolis Charters as they made their way to and from their factory jobs. As a small boy, John Huffstetler watched his father manage that transportation business; today, he co-owns with Lee Helms the reinvention of the company - Trolleys of the Carolinas.

Trolleys of the Carolinas provides transportation for all types of occasions. It has a fleet of six restored trolleys that can seat up to 24 people and may stand an additional 16 passengers. Each trolley is beautifully accented with fine brass railings, solid oak seating, and a viewing platform off the back.

Trolleys of the Carolinas can arrange transportation for all types of events and groups. Scheduled departures are available for groups to charter, but John and Lee can also customize an itinerary to meet a group 5 specific requirements.
